About Us

Rajeen Palestinian Debka Group, formerly known as Sanabel, was assembled in 2001. We are an independent group that is committed to the preservation and presentation of the Palestinian culture via Debka, a traditional form of Palestinian Dance.

Our name symbolizes Palestinians coming back to their roots and culture. We believe that it is important to preserve our culture and we convey that through dance. The struggle for Palestinian identity, existence, and freedom is forever in our hearts.

As Palestinians continue to struggle for their inherent rights to existence and determination, Rajeen’s mission is to portray a part of our culture that has been overshadowed by the injustices of the Israeli occupation.

We are an independent group that is not affiliated with any political or religious organization, or to any political ideology.
